Assassins creed revelations review.
When everyone thinks assassins they picture some random prick dressed in black armed with a silenced pistol, attacking victims while the sleep. This view was fucked a few years ago when the first of many assassins' creed games was launched. The game was an instant success and now a series that was only meant to have two games has now got three and is still going strong. We are here to rate the latest, Assassins creed-Brotherhood.
The Assassins creed series is based in the middle-east during the years of the crusade. You are fighting to free your country from its invaders and to find some bastard gang that has betrayed your family and caused them to lose all their power and their lives.
The campaign of brotherhood continues from the earlier assassins creed 2. You again assume the character (whoever he is, I cannot fucking remember his name) and are hunting the bastards that killed your family (the league of assassins).
At some stage during the campaign your leader is killed, this throws the whole brotherhood into dis-array and power factions start to show. You are then tasked with getting the brotherhood back together to fuck your enemies once again. The ultimatum of the campaign is where finally get a one-on-one battle with the main prick on the cities walls during a siege. The campaign the ends on a dull note and rather predictable note: "This shit goes deeper"�I will kill them all!"�
The graphics in the game are good without being great. They are not as if you are playing minecraft (BTW what is so good about it?
) where everything is pixelated but it could do with a little bit of work.
The gameplay is very enjoyable and just gets better as you play the game more. The campaign may be a little short, but it is thoroughly enjoyable and quite good by any standards. I would say that it is one of the best campaigns out there today (certainly shits all over any call of duty campaign and all over any halo campaigns.)
There is a multiplayer section of the game. This is just like any multiplayer games where you can just straight up kill everyone, fight for objectives or kill as a team. The thing that makes the online play a success (apart from the prestigious reputation of assassins creed) is that you do not lose the feeling of actually being an assassin when you play. Patchy connection is really the only problem with the online play.
I suppose there are some downsides to the game:
Basically the preparation and the amount of sneaking around is not that necessary to getting a kill. Especially when you have a knife-launching grappling gun hidden inside your coat.
Some of the items that you use throughout the story are a little far-fetched. This is not all that important though, and some of them just make the gameplay even better.
The story line was clearly rushed into production, could have used some more time,
Things we like:
The gameplay is very enjoyable, so much so it is on the border of addictive.
The gameplay style is very much like you are actually an assassin going around and just mutilating everyone you feel like. A BIG FUCKING +!
Weapons that are of an assassin and they use the improvisation of an assassin.
You are an assassin but you go where everyone can see you. Whether this is like an assassin or not is not relevant, it just feels good.
Things we do not like:
Not a great way to end the story but does leave it open for other assassins creeds.
The graphics are not that much better than those of earlier assassins' creeds.
The enemies look Spanish. The Spanish in Rome? No. Just no.
The story line could use more work. (This should be fixed by the next one)
Is this a massive fuck up or just a massive game?

This is great assassination game. The major thing that makes this game different is that assassins creed brotherhood and in fact the whole fucking series is focused around kill the mother fuckers and is not about all the random crap that gets thrown in by other games (this is the surrounding objectives that go along with the actual assassination.) It is also partly the fact that you are not in a gang, you are just a free for all murdering bastard (even though the correct term is either assassin or private security employee.)
There is a sad note, the series is starting to slow down, according to the promo of the next one (Assassins Creed Revelations) it is the last of the assassins creeds. This means get them now before they are considered relics.
Available on XBOX 360, PS3 and PC.
